It went around a bit, with director Breck Eisner attached before he was killed, and 47 Ronin Carl Rinsch jumped in. Our last message was, in 2009, and it sounds like Universal is not happy with Rinsch and 47 Ronin, but they're still on Black Lagoon. There is an update today and Universal writer writer Dave Kajganich a new draft.
